EuCNC & 6G Summit 2025

DATE & TIME

June 3 - June 6

June 3 June 6

The 2025 EuCNC & 6G Summit builds on putting together two successful conferences in the area of telecommunications: EuCNC (European Conference on Networks and Communications), supported by the European Commission, and the 6G Summit, originated from the 6G Flagship programme in Finland, one of the very first in its area. The conference is sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc), the European Association for Signal Processing (EURASIP) and the European Association on Antennas and Propagation (EurAAP), and focuses on all aspects of telecommunications ranging from 5G deployment and mobile IoT to 6G exploration and future communications systems and networks, including experimentation and testbeds, and applications and services. It brings together cutting-edge research and world-renown industries and businesses, globally attracting in the last years more than 1000 delegates from more than 40 countries all over the world, to present and discuss the latest results, and an exhibition with more than 50 exhibitors, for demonstrating the technology developed in the area, namely within research projects from EU R&I programmes.

UNITY-6G plans an active presence at EuCNC & 6G Summit 2025, where it will host a dedicated poster booth. The poster will introduce visitors to the project’s overarching ambition and present its architecture, highlighting how UNITY-6G aims to drive forward the next generation of connectivity.

In addition to the poster booth, UNITY-6G partners will contribute to the event’s technical program including:

  • Special Session AURA-6G: Towards an AI-native, service-oriented, ubiquitous and verifiable 6G integrated fabric organized and chaied by UNITY-6G coordinator, CTTC
  • Special Session Building Blocks for Autonomous Networks chaired by UNITY-6G project partner, Rimedo Labs
  • NVS1 – Visions for resilience and sustainability with the presentation of “Advances in Network Orchestration for Security, Scalability, and Sustainability” paper
  • NET3 – Network & Service Orchestration with the presentation of “Exploiting 6G RAN and Core Network Information for Intelligent Edge-Cloud Service Orchestration” paper
  • NVS3  – Sustainability, regulation, and business models with the presentation of “UNITY-6G: UNified archITecture for Open RAN-Enabled Distributed, Scalable and SustainabilitY-Enhanced 6G Networks” paper

Furthermore, project partner imec will host a corporate booth to demonstrate cutting-edge developments in Wi-Fi for 6G networks. Since the release of openwifi by the IDLab research group of imec and Ghent University in 2019, this open-source innovation has matured significantly and is now a key enabler in ongoing 6G research. At EuCNC, imec will showcase how openwifi—enhanced with Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) capabilities such as time synchronization, time-triggered scheduling, and real-time telemetry—is being used in UNITY-6G. This demonstration will explore the convergence of Wi-Fi and TSN with 3GPP and O-RAN technologies, particularly in the context of non-public networks for industrial automation.

Don’t miss the chance to meet our partners, explore the UNITY-6G architecture, and witness live demonstrations of key innovations shaping the future of 6G!
