On May 27–28, 2025, the UNITY-6G consortium gathered in Châtillon, France, for a productive and energizing General Assembly hosted by project partner Orange. The two-day meeting brought together all partner organizations to exchange updates, align on next steps, and deepen collaboration across both technical and strategic workstreams. Partners who could not attend in person, joined the meeting remotely.
From architecture design to stakeholder engagement, the meeting served as a valuable checkpoint to assess progress and collectively steer the project toward its ambitious goals. Partners shared insights on ongoing and upcoming activities across all work packages and tasks, with discussions highlighting how different efforts are interconnected and contribute to UNITY-6G’s holistic development approach.
A key highlight of the meeting was the session dedicated to presenting the project’s Use Cases and discussing their associated requirements—an important step toward shaping the project’s future Proofs of Concept and technical implementation. Participants also took part in an interactive group activity focused on collectively sketching the UNITY-6G architecture, reinforcing a shared understanding and co-creation mindset.

In addition to technical discussions, the consortium also reviewed communication and dissemination activities, emphasizing the importance of visibility and outreach to ensure the project’s recognition within the 6G ecosystem and beyond.
The General Assembly further strengthened the team spirit that drives UNITY-6G forward—underscoring the importance of open dialogue, collaboration, and collective ambition.
A big thank you to our hosts and partners at Orange for their warm welcome and for making this meeting possible!
