UNITY-6G project partner Nearby Computing attended and exhibited at the IEEE International Conference on Machine Learning for Communication and Networking (IEEE ICMLCN 2025), held on 26–29 May 2025 in Barcelona, Spain.
At their booth, Nearby Computing highlighted UNITY-6G’s cutting-edge architecture and use cases through the project’s roll-up display. Their presence at the conference helped raise awareness about UNITY-6G’s contributions to next-generation communication and AI-based networking technologies.
In addition to exhibiting, Nearby Computing also contributed to the conference’s technical program via:
· Presentation of the poster “Optimization of Distinct Time-Series Neural Architectures for Cloud-Edge Workload Prediction” as part of Poster Session 1.3: Resource Management and Network Optimization I, chaired by Prof. Ben Liang (University of Toronto).
· Chairing of Poster Session 2.3: Resource Management and Network Optimization II, during which they also presented the poster “Explainable AI for Resource-Efficient Microservice Management in Cloud-Native Networks.”
The IEEE ICMLCN 2025 brought together researchers from machine learning and communication/networking domains, promoting cutting-edge research on applying ML to enhance communication systems and protocols. The event provided a valuable opportunity for UNITY-6G to engage with a global community of experts and showcase its innovative approach to intelligent network management.
