UNITY-6G was presented at the 13th Spanish Conference on the EU Research and Innovation Framework Programme, organized by the Spanish Centre for the Development of Technology and Innovation (CDTI) in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, the European Commission, and Acció. Held in Barcelona under the theme “Between Two Programmes, Horizon Europe”, the conference gathered representatives from European institutions, national and regional administrations, industry, and the research community to discuss the present and future of European research and innovation funding.
The Project Coordinator and Scientific Coordinator attended the event and introduced UNITY-6G to conference participants, presenting the project’s objectives, ongoing activities, and expected impact on the evolution of future 6G communication networks.

UNITY-6G was also represented in the conference’s poster exhibition, which showcased Horizon Europe projects coordinated by Spanish entities. The project poster was displayed, providing an opportunity to share information about UNITY-6G with attendees and engage with stakeholders from across the European research and innovation ecosystem.
The conference focused on the latest developments in Horizon Europe and the preparation of the next European Framework Programme, expected to begin in 2028. The programme featured contributions from representatives of the European Commission, CDTI, research organizations, universities, and innovative companies, offering insights into future funding opportunities and strategic priorities for European research and innovation.
Participation in the conference provided an opportunity for UNITY-6G to connect with the broader Horizon Europe community, exchange views with fellow projects and stakeholders, and contribute to discussions on the future of collaborative research and advanced digital technologies in Europe.
