UNITY-6G consortium ensured the project’s strong presence at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, held from Monday, March 3, to Thursday, March 6, 2025. Several consortium partners attended the event to present the project’s concept and vision. The project coordinator, Telecommunications Technology Center of Catalonia (CTTC), along with partners Keysight, Hispasat, Ceragon, and Nearby Computing, hosted booths where they displayed promotional materials providing key insights into UNITY-6G’s groundbreaking work. CTTC also featured a project roll-up illustrating the UNITY-6G architecture, which provides a forward-looking framework designed to leverage cutting-edge technologies and native AI-driven processes in heterogeneous domains to create a highly adaptable, efficient, and sustainable 6G network. Displayed visual aids helped attendees quickly grasp the project’s objectives and value, sparking discussions about its planned work and the expected impact.

One of the key highlights for the project, was the visit of the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU), the EU’s public-private partnership driving B5G and 6G innovation. During their visit to the CTTC booth, UNITY-6G coordinator Dr. Engin Zeydan had the honor of showcasing how the project is leading the way in developing sustainable, scalable, intelligent, trustworthy, and integrated 6G network infrastructure. “MWC 2025 has enabled our project to gain visibility among academic and industrial leaders, partners, and standardization and policymaking bodies at both EU and global levels,” said Dr. Zeydan. “The presentation of our progress at this prestigious event to high-profile visitors, including the SNS JU management team, was particularly important for the project. This opportunity allowed us to engage directly with key decision-makers and influencers in the 6G domain and showcase UNITY-6G’s innovative approaches to integrating sustainable and intelligent network solutions.”
