UNITY-6G took a leading role in shaping discussions on the future of 6G networks at the 28th Conference on Innovation in Clouds, Internet, and Networks (ICIN 2025), held on March 11–14, 2025, in Paris, France. Under the scientific and technical leadership of CTTC, the UNITY-6G coordinator, the project organized the 2nd Workshop on 6G Network Use Cases and Verticals, bringing together researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers to explore the transformative potential of 6G across various industries.
The workshop delved into 6G network architecture, AI-driven automation, security challenges, and regulatory considerations, with a strong focus on vertical integration and industry-specific applications. Discussions highlighted emerging 6G-enabled technologies, including augmented reality in healthcare, autonomous vehicles, and advanced AI and machine learning integration.
UNITY-6G’s engagement at ICIN 2025 underscores the project’s commitment to shaping next-generation networks by driving research, fostering collaboration with key stakeholders, and ensuring that 6G innovations address real-world challenges.
